Our lady in yellow threw a soiree on Saturday (yes, she was singing. Didn't you hear her?) and made tons of new friends. Now she is going to miss them just as much as I will.

On the lake

This here will be Ms Yellow's new home from June till February. And boy, is she excited. She can barely keep still when she thinks about all that time splashing about in the water.

(Let's not tell her that come December the lake will be frozen over. There are some things a duck just doesn't need to know.)

The sun was shining, the sand was soft, the surf was glistening and this little duckie was happy to be soaking it up with her dear family. Even if it did mean submitting herself to some fierce headlocks... .

In fact, Ms Yellow enjoyed herself so much that she totally forgot about keeping herself pretty.
